About the Course
The Coping Cat program is one of the most well-researched and effective treatments for childhood anxiety. Designed specifically for children ages 9–11, this 12-week virtual group helps participants understand how anxiety works, recognize anxious thoughts and feelings, and develop practical skills for managing worry with greater confidence.
Through interactive activities, discussion, and real-life practice, children learn strategies to calm their bodies, challenge anxious thinking, and gradually face fears rather than avoid them. The goal is not to eliminate anxiety completely, but to help children build the confidence and resilience needed to handle it successfully.
Children leave the program with a stronger understanding of themselves, a personalized toolbox of coping skills, and increased confidence in navigating everyday challenges.
