Coping Cat CBT Anxiety Group (Virtual Therapy Group)
The Coping Cat group is a fun and supportive program for kids ages 7–13 who experience anxiety. The group is divided into two sections based on age: one for children ages 7–10 and another for those ages 11–13, ensuring the content matches their developmental needs. Over 18 sessions, split into two parts, kids will learn to recognize their anxious thoughts and feelings, practice helpful strategies to manage them, and gradually face their fears step by step. The first nine sessions focus on building skills and confidence, while the second nine involve practicing these skills in real-life situations with both group and individual tasks. Parents also play a key role, meeting with the therapist twice to learn how to support their child, reinforce skills at home, and better understand their child’s journey.
